Obituary of Mary Deley

Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Friday May 12, 2017, Mary Deley, (nee Czyrywaty) of Chatham at the age of 91 years.

Cherished wife of the late Nick Deley (2013).  Mary, daughter of the late Harry and Nellie Czyrywaty, lived her whole life in Chatham and lovingly raised four children, Mary Jo (Robert) Gale of London, Michael (Nancy) Deley of Cambridge, Cathy (Roger) Tetreault of Chatham and Susan Deley-Gray (Blaine) of Waterloo.

She was beloved “Baba” to 11 grandchildren; Michael, Janine (Steven), Danny (Christina), Billy (Elikem), Jilian (Shaun), Lauren (Patrick), Stacie (Johnny), Ryan (Veronica), Warren (Kaitlin), Garrett, Alanna and 4½  great grandchildren.

Predeceased by a sister Anne Mindorff, her brothers-in-law Bob Mindorff and Alex Stadnyk, and her sister-in-law Mary Stadnyk.

Mary was a lifetime member of the Catholic Women’s League at St. Ursula’s Parish.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday May 15, 2017 from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 pm, followed by the Members of the Catholic Women’s League Service.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM in St. Ursula's Church.  

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
