Obituary of Yvonne Mary Rossignol

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday, May 22, 2017, Yvonne Mary Rossignol, age 88, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Omer Rossignol.  Born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, daughter of the late Isaac and Henriette Michaud.

 She will be missed by her children, Cajetan (Sharon) Laverdière of Minesing, On., Gaetan (Mary) Hegyi of Barrie, Jaçinthe (Gerry) Bondy of London, Gisèle Mongeau, Ivan (Kim) Labonté, Doreen (late Dave Maynard), Richard (Nicole) Hornby, Normand (Cindy) Deneau all of Chatham, and Michel (Yvette) Alexandre of Grande Pointe, 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. 

Also missed by her sisters, Edwina (Paul) Bourgoin, Gladys (Henry) Castonguay, Ida (Enoil) Michaud, Marie Mai (Alphonse) Bourgoin all of Grand Falls, N.B., Linda (Guy) Morin of Chatham, her brothers, Euclide (Rose) Michaud of Chatham, Ronald (Rinetet) Michaud of Kitchener, Ludger (Gail) Michaud of Pain Court (late Mirielle Theriault), Emile (Jacqueline) Michaud of Chatham, Reid (Suzanne) Michaud of Pain Court, and many nieces and nephews. 

   Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Yvon Michaud, Dorothy Bourgoin (late May Pelltier), Gildor, Guy and Reno Michaud (survived by their spouses, Murielle and Eveline).

  Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 2 – 4, and 7 – 9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3:30 pm.

 A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1 pm in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court.

 Burial will be in Immaculée Conception Cemetery.
