Obituary of Lois Arlene Townsend

Peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the age of 73. Only daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine (Moore) Lahey. Survived by her husband and best friend Richard Townsend, daughter Susan (Ernie) Benjamin and daughter-in-law Colleen Croft. Predeceased by her son Michael and grandson Anthony. Lois also leaves behind 4 grandchildren Samantha (Matt) Clark, Christopher (Marlena) Croft, Richard (Rachel) Croft, Merissa (Thomas) Dawson and 4 great grandchildren Mila, Piper, Declan and Aria. Lois’s career included Secretary Treasurer of The Last Post Fund, she also joined her husband in many ventures as Co-owners of Med Express Limited for many years as well as renovating and flipping houses. She loved to crochet and spending time with the kids and her pets, Mister, Missus and Misty, as well as her closest friends Lorena and Steve. The family would like to thank the Nurses of 8 East at Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus for treating her with kindness and respect making her last days more comfortable.
