Obituary of Tony Franssen

Peacefully at his residence in Blenheim, on Friday April 9, 2021, Anthony “Tony” Franssen, age 83.  Beloved husband of Wilhelmina (Vandenbroek) Franssen.  Born in Kessel Limburg, the Netherlands in 1937, son of the late Anna Maria (Jegers) and Peter Franssen.

Loving father of Gerry Franssen and Monica (Steve) Rusnak.  Dearest grandfather of Reva (Brian) Eckhardt, Ericka (Jeff) Kacan, Rees Franssen, Brett, Tye and Jarod Rusnak and great grandfather of Norah and Isaac Eckhardt and Ava Kacan.  Dear brother of John (Annie), Harry (Anne), Bill (Mary Ann) Franssen.  He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law Annie, Wilma and Mathea Franssen and several nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by infant daughter Angela, sister Elly Cattrysse, infant sister Maria and brothers Pierre, George, Joe and Albert Franssen. 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Sunday April 11, 2021 from 2-5 PM.

A Private Family Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday April 12, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Church. For family to attend the mass please also sign up.

Cremation will follow.
